Conference Objective: To discuss strategies to improve the social, economic and environmental quality of human settlements and the living and working environment of all people in particular urban and rural poor in relation to the Istanbul Declaration and Habitat Agenda in view of regional economic integrations among transition economies

Conference Themes: Sustainable land-use planning; Sustainable building construction; Integrated provision of infrastructure: housing, water, sanitation, drainage and solid waste management; Financing housing and infrastructure development and management; Human settlements management; Human resource development and capacity-building for human settlements development.
